Note: "Team" refers to both collectively (two-player team).

1. Teams will schedule their own weekly games.  If possible, please avoid scheduling during the "Open Play Time" or tournament times.

2. Scheduling Party – Saturday, September 13th  On the September event at the Pavilion.

   1. To ensure your games are scheduled, at least one member from your team must be present with the availability for both players. 

   2. This is your chance to coordinate your matches and lock in dates for the season.

3. Schedules and Scores:

   1.  You may enter them on the league page  

      • Click HERE for instructions

   2. Or you may submit them to henry@lowbocce.com on the same day played or asap. 

4. We may have backup players (in case a player is unavailable for a period of time) and/or backup teams (in case a team is unable to continue playing).

5. Winning Team: the first team to reach 15 points with a lead of at least two points wins the game.  If neither team has a two-point lead, continue playing until one team achieves a two-point difference or the first team to reach 20 points.

   1. Once a team reaches 15 points with a lead of two points, any additional points will not count, and any unplayed balls are dropped. (For example, you cannot win a game 17-10 by rolling two extra balls after reaching 15 points with a lead of at least two points; your final score will remain 15-10).

   2. In the event a game is mistakenly stopped when a team reaches 15 points without a two-point lead and the scores are reported, the reported scores will stand as final.

6. If a game gets interrupted by unforeseen circumstances, such as weather, write down the current score and note which team played the pallino ball in the current frame.  Replay the current frame when possible, with the same player who tossed the pallino in the interrupted frame tossing it again.

7. A team that opted not to schedule or play a game will receive 0 (zero)  points and the other team will receive 15 points.

8. The points scheme outlined in Rule 7 will also apply if a team is more than 30 minutes late for a game and hasn't arranged to reschedule before the game's start time.   This includes the playoffs and championship games.

9. If both teams make an effort to schedule their game but can't find a date to play, both teams will receive 0 (zero) points.

10. LOW Bocce League Sign-Ups will be from August 28nd to September 11th. 

11. Game assignments will be released on September 12th.

12. The League will start on Saturday, September 13th. (the season will go for approximately 8 weeks).

13. All games should be scheduled by October 5th.  And played by Friday, November 7th.  

    1. Games schedule can be changed at a later date if needed.

    2. Help scheduling the games will be provided if asked.

14. Groups:

Note: Point differential is the total points scored minus total points allowed.

1. If we have only one group, a championship game will be played between the top 2 teams on the standings.

   • The championship game will be held on Saturday, November 8th   More information will be provided after the league starts.  

2. If we have two groups, the championship game between the winners of Group A and B will be held on Saturday, November 8th.  More information will be provided after the league starts. 

   • In the case that two teams are tied for a Group, a playoff game will have to be played before the championship game.

3. We will not use backup players for Playoff or Championship games.

14. If we don't have a specific guideline for a particular situation, the league's organizer will make the final decision.
